Supplies:
- Duct Tape (Any pattern, you can do multiple, too!)
- Pen
- Scissors
1. Peel the tape a little longer than a square. Fold the top left corner almost all the way to the bottom right corner. Leave a small space of the sticky side of the tape exposed because you'll need it for the next step.
2. Fold the top right corner toward the bottom left corner. Align the bottom of this with the bottom of the tape on the fold you made in step 1.
3. cut the triangle you just made, with a bit of the sticky side of the tape at the bottom.
4. Align the triangle so the tip is just over the end of the pen.
5. Carefully roll the tape around the pen so it sticks, creating the shape of a petal.
6. After you've attached a few petals, start to make the tips further away from the top of the pen to make it look like a real flower. Repeat steps 1-5 until you're satisfied with the amount of petals you've made. You can make as big or small of a flower as you want.
7. Optional: Accessorize your pen by rolling tape around the pen's body, adding a pearl in the middle of the flower, or even try making petals different duct tape designs/colors!
8. You're done with your duct tape pen! Write with it, use it in school, or give it to a friend. Remember, no two pieces of art are the same!
